New Zealand: South Island
After three weeks and five thousand kilometers driving, I approached Mt. Cook from the south on a cloudless, sunny evening. I had been trying to photograph it for a week from different locations on the South Island. Every attempt was compromised by clouds of the Mt. Cook massif. And the real visual bonus on this occasion was Lake Pukaki, which is actually this color.
